Soo... My aloe variegata has a white spot on one of it's leaves (;~;) I water it as it needs it and it's under the TLC lamp all the time. I think that it's another spot like what's on another leaf near the tip which means that it'll get eaten away at least a little bit, but I don't know what it is or how it got there :( I know it needs replanting ( Read more... )

I bought this fig tree at the local garden center.  I was very excited.  I had not seen fig trees out here and I have always wanted one.  My Abuelo had a huge one in his back yard in Los Angeles.  Mine is small, because it's in a pot.  The problem is now the pot is FULL of roots, they are completely stuffed in this huge, 3 cubic foot pot.  I only ( Read more... )

I don't have a very green thumb, but I've been given a few houseplants that I've been keeping at work, and they generally seem to be doing well. (They seem to really like the florescent lighting.) The Begonia is putting out new leaves like crazy and the Pothos vine is not losing any leaves, but I don't think I'm caring properly for the Rubber Tree ( Read more... )

I need some help.  The last time I posted, it was about a sad little Peace Rose that followed me home from Home Depot.  Well, that rose is in the ground and flourishing, but now...my miniature roses are ailing.  I tried to put it all under a cut, but I fail at the new cut stuff.  :-(
